The A 20 DT is a family of four cylinder in line turbo diesel engines used in Opel, Vauxhall and SAAB applications. The engine comes in a variety of power out puts but all badged 2.0 CDTi for Opel/Vauxhall and 2.0 TTid for SAAB. But this is not a “New” engine, Fiat and GM shared engine technologies for many years and this particular engine is GM’s post Fiat deal development which is based on the older 1.9 CDTi engine. Despite its flaws there are a large number of these engines around due the wide selection of vehicles that were fitted with them. Good thing FAI have a great selection of parts for it then.
