For all those naysayers who thought that another BMW model was a step too far, the Germanic brand has proved you wrong, again; full disclosure, we were some of those who scoffed at the idea.
The 2 series is as predictable as a sandwich from Pret, good quality and classy but similarly gives you a good firm kick in the wallet. Buyers have become expectant of certain BMW attributes such as build quality, great handling and finely tuned engines; all of which create an appealing offering when wrapped up in the neat contours of a small coupe.
BMW’s like many other brands have a tendency of keeping a front end that only differs slightly from model to model, so maybe only a view from the side will make you say, “oh, it’s a 2 series”. It has filled a gap that few knew existed, but the sales figures have steadily increased throughout Europe and beyond.
