The Opel/Vauxhall Mokka is a compact SUV available in Europe from 2012. The Mokka was developed to fill the gap between the larger Antara SUV and Zafria MPV. Introduced to take market share from competitors like the Skoda Yeti and Nissan Qashqai the Mokka is available with a choice of two petrol and two diesel engines. The petrol engines include a naturally aspirated 1.6 and a turbo charged 1.4. The 2012 Mokka saw a choice of two different power output variants of the trusty GM 1.7 diesel with a 1.6 turbo diesel entering the range when the Mokka was face lifted in 2016. Although primarily an on road car the Mokka can be driven off road when required. The four wheel drive option has a fully adaptive system which can seamlessly shift 50% of power to the rear wheels when needed.
