Hopefully you were one of the many customers and prospects who took the time to visit our stand at Automechanika Frankfurt this year. Even as a passer-by, you would have noticed the bustling atmosphere around the FAI stand.

Whilst our previous shows were incredibly important for us, the stand turnout was dwarfed by the sheer volume of visitors flowing through this year’s stand. On the first day, our stand saw visitors from over 30 different countries, a number that grew to 55 by the end of the 5 days.

As well as meeting with our current customers, we had considerable interest from new prospects. We even had old customers that we hadn’t dealt with for some time come back to FAI as they felt the quality of products, service and personable approach of our team was too good to ignore. Our EAC certification also attracted considerable interest from prospects based in Russia.

We took the opportunity to show off our new 2017 Lucas Glow Plug and FAI Timing Chain Kit catalogues and obtain valuable feedback on our service, products and potential new ranges we are looking to introduce. Listening to our customers and their opinions on the current market is a vital part of the ongoing expansion to our business and product offer.

The event also provided the perfect chance for us to spend some time with our customers and build the important relationships needed to move our businesses forward. We find the best and most entertaining method is to host a meal in the evening for variety of customers and FAI staff. When you have over 30 people of varied nationality around a table, it makes for a brilliant evening.
