BTCC – Round Six – Snetterton
BTCC – Snetterton
Snetterton - 30th & 31st July
With a disappointing level of performance from his A-Class in the last few rounds, Adam had his eyes firmly set on taking a different approach to the latest round. Even after a positive practice session at the Norfolk circuit Adam was cautious on the tactics utilised:
“We think we found something with the car and we were able to push harder and harder all day. We were so close to pole, too. I’m going to try and stay out of trouble tomorrow and bring it back with three strong results. I’d love to get back on the podium again and a win would be fantastic, but I’m thinking about the championship overall so points are the important thing.”
The plan clearly worked as Adam went on to secure 4th place in race 1, 5th place in R2 and 7th in R3. This leaves him 9th in the overall standings with the confidence to push for pole at Knockhill on the 14th August.
