BTCC – Oulton Park

Despite being technically his home ground, Oulton Park has always been a challenge for Adam. After the previous 3rd position at Thruxton R3, Adam also had to deal with the excess 57kg ballast.

The pressure was on for Adam to pull back the winning streak from the previous race weekend but qualifying proved to be disappointing after achieving 27th position. Race 1 resulted in a marginal improvement with the A-Class finishing in 24th position leaving the WIX racing team baffled by the performance. 

After what must have been a considerable pep talk or tweak to the vehicle, race 2 and 3 saw a revived Adam, rocketing up the standings and finishing in 12th and 10th respectively.

This leaves Adam in 5th place on the overall standings. The next round is scheduled for the 18-19th June at Croft Circuit.
