COVID-19 UK Delivery Update
First of all, we hope you’re all staying safe and your workforces have remained fit and well during this challenging time. As the UK Government Minister said this week - what we are facing today, the country has not faced anything comparable since World War Two. We truly believe that if everyone followed the guidelines given to us by our respective Governments, then we will pull through this period faster and become stronger companies for it.
Here at FAI, we are continuing to follow government guidelines in all aspects of COVID-19:
- Washing hands regularly.
- Social distancing.
- Isolated work areas.
- Staff working from home.
- Anyone with symptoms or family members self-isolating for 14 days.
As last week progressed, we started to feel the pinch on our warehouse side and slowly saw a decline in numbers, which may affect our normal expectations of high service delivered. With this in mind, we have decided to make working changes to the warehouse this week to maintain our service to you, our customer. These changes will take effect from Tuesday 31st March and will continue throughout April.
Orders placed will now have a delivery window of 48 hours. Whilst we will try our utmost to work towards 24 hours, the reality now is an increased chance of your order arriving within the 48 hours.
We continue to operate a full customer services department which will be unaffected during this time. It was noted by some groups and customers that closures may well happen this week so please do communicate with us so we can avoid any risk of fraudulent activity on orders.
