They’ve only gone and done it! The team of four Army personnel, who before this undertaking wouldn’t describe themselves as rowers have blitzed across the Atlantic in just over 37 days; coming 6^th in their category.

The sight of land signalled the end to an epic journey that we’re sure has bonded life-long friendships. However, we’re equally sure that having spent every waking hour together, the guys will be looking forward to some alone time once back in the UK!

Here at FAI, we’ve been following their every move via the GPS tracker, not just in devoted support but also due to a company-wide sweepstake. They came in over a week sooner than the average guess of 45 days; making one lucky employee a bit richer.Averaging a very respectable 2.8 knots, the 3000 mile trip has been a superb effort from all involved. We’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate ‘Force Atlantic’ in their amazing feat and a big well-done for all the charity funds raised for the ABF (The soldiers’ charity).
