#TBT – Sean Walker Monaco 2004

Throwback Thursday – Sean Walker racing the Lotus 72E in the 2004 Monaco Grand Prix de Historique. The car was owned by Clive Chapman, son of Lotus founder Colin Chapman and used by former world champion Emerson Fittipaldi and many other famous drivers in its lifetime. When first designed, and built, the Lotus 72 was way ahead of the competition with game changing design innovations made by Colin Chapman and his team at Lotus. Sean was fortunate enough to drive the legendary car at Monaco in 2004 and achieved 4th position in qualifying but was unable to continue with the race after an electrical malfunction rendered the car un-driveable.
