What is cataphoresis?
We often talk about the Cataphoretic coating on our steering & suspension parts but what is it and why do we use it?
What is cataphoresis?
Cataphoresis is a process of electro coating metals to get a high resistance to atmospheric agents. In the case of our steering & suspension parts this is the electro coating of paint onto various steering components. This coating increases the anti-corrosive properties of the parts and is the standard for auto parts where a complete and optimal antirust protection is required.
How is it applied?
Cataphoresis is an organic coating method that uses electrical current to deposit paint onto a part or assembled product. Because of its ability to coat even the most complex parts and assembled products with specific performance requirements, Cataphoresis is used by numerous industries as a means to coat products in various categories such as: agricultural equipment, appliances, automobiles, automotive parts, marine components, transformers, metal office furniture, lawn & garden equipment and furniture, fasteners, trim appliances, fixtures and much more.
One of our core values is best quality. Cataphoresis coating consolidates and reinforces the quality of the product we offer our customers. This process protects the parts against salt, dirt and water ingress, increasing strength and longevity, matching and exceeding OE specifications.
We are very proud of our quality and depth of range
