We are excited to announce the launch of our new eCat to replace our existing Online Catalogue for digital parts lookup. On 6th September 2019, we will be switching on our new eCat as part of a larger project to streamline our systems and deliver an all-round improvement to the service we offer our customers.

The new FAI eCat has been designed to provide faster, more accurate vehicle and part lookups with a simple-to-use interface. All users will now have access to our UK vehicle registration lookup as well as new 360° interactive functionality on select product group images including Cylinder Heads, Water Pumps, Oil Pumps, Valve Covers and more. Adding more 360° images to the database will be undertaken as an ongoing project to assist our customers in identifying the correct part.

Our previous catalogue platform has served us well and has run for and evolved over 10 years. With advancements in data and cloud-based services, we have invested in more efficient back-end data management tools that allow more effective cataloguing of our parts. The new platform also provides us with a framework to build better customer functionality for the future and improved data integrity. The new eCat will also allow us to speed up the rate of development in our ranges and push the associated data live in a greatly reduced timescale.

Whilst the transition will have minimal impact on the way you look up FAI parts, it will differ. The new eCat was designed with simplicity and ease-of-use in mind but we have provided a simple guide to help assist with the new platform and can offer a 1 to 1 with your area sales manager - please just contact Communications@faiauto.com.
